PILATES

The past few weeks I have been going to Pilates classes at actually 2 places in town. Both are great, but Pilates on Main has newer equipment and a more aggressive instructor. Pilates is AMAZING! I have gone to the classes 3x a week for the past 3 weeks! And I feel so much more healthy. I don't look it yet, but I sure do hope to! It is so good for your body. I am used to the "having to kill yourself workout" to feel like I am getting anywhere. Pilates can be challenging but it isn't bad on your joints and can really work every part of your body. I have done Pilates Videos and classes before (they are great), it is just a better workout when you're 1 on 1 or in small group classes. And on the reformer of course, which is the machine pictured above. It adds resistance to the regular pilates moves and just makes for a more intense workout. I am in love. And I hope I can keep doing these classes. If anyone is feeling like they have a little bit of February Frump, do Pilates! You will feel better!!! 

Duh I can't do that pose, but I will! :)
