PILATES

The past few weeks I have been going to Pilates classes at actually 2 places in town. Both are great, but Pilates on Main has newer equipment and a more aggressive instructor. Pilates is AMAZING! I have gone to the classes 3x a week for the past 3 weeks! And I feel so much more healthy. I don't look it yet, but I sure do hope to! It is so good for your body. I am used to the "having to kill yourself workout" to feel like I am getting anywhere. Pilates can be challenging but it isn't bad on your joints and can really work every part of your body. I have done Pilates Videos and classes before (they are great), it is just a better workout when you're 1 on 1 or in small group classes. And on the reformer of course, which is the machine pictured above. It adds resistance to the regular pilates moves and just makes for a more intense workout. I am in love. And I hope I can keep doing these classes. If anyone is feeling like they have a little bit of February Frump, do Pilates! You will feel better!!! 

Duh I can't do that pose, but I will! :)

Creative Techs

I had a webinar today on inDesign CS3/CS4 which was totally awesome...and I had to give a shout out to the guys over at CreativeTechs cause i told them i would... they are awesome and I totally appreciate all of their hard work. They have helped me tremendously with some of the things they have taught, and the webinar was awesome today.. Jason Hoppe is the man.  So thanks guys.  If anybody has any questions about their own personal Mac or about any of the Adobe software, I suggest signing up to their weekly newsletter where they give tips about these things.  Once again... thank you Creative Techs!!

So we have been dabbling a little bit into the photography world because we felt a little left out and uncool and decided photography was the answer.. but we are probably wrong... here's a couple photos from a shoot we did in this last weekend.. we have no idea what we are doing but we are super stoked on how the photos came out...

Ali and Kavi

We had the fortunate opportunity to take Ali and Kavins photos for their wedding and it was a good time.  They are amazing people and we love them very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much.  Let me be the first to say.. CONGRATULATIONS!

CHRISTMAS was amazing...

Tav spoiled me and now I have my own mac. It is very exciting for me... I now have a computer that actually gets things done in a decent amount of time. He is too nice. And too amazing! 

The Holiday season is a time to be thankful (year round should be as well) sooo I have to say my biggest blessing is definitely Tavish Dennis Calico. 

Today we spoke in our ward and I was so nervous.. I typed out like two talks but neither of them were feeling right so Tav helped me actually speak from my heart... And 45 min before church I whipped out some quick notes and pulled of an okay talk.. Which is good enough for me! I loved preparing for the talk it taught me a lot. And of course Tav did a lovely lovely job. We were lucky enough to have today for our talks because mostly everyone was gone for the Holidays. So it wasn't quite as scary. 

Unfortunately I have no sweet photos to post for you because we didn't really get any photos. We'll have to get a ton a new year's to make up for it! 

And sadly Christmas came and went by so quickly, but I loved every moment of it. Now the hard part is that immediately after christmas I want it to immediately turn into spring.... So I must be patient... 

Anyway Merry late Christmas everyone! I hope it was as wonderful for you as it was for me!

Alright. So I'm working on a project.  It's a family improvement company that builds family relations through adventure based therapy, along with one on one meetings with professional therapists and a bunch of other stuff that helps families to be stronger.  I'm trying to come up with a branding concept that will carry through there website, ads and anything they do.  Here is the initial logo and I'm not too sure how I feel about it.  Maybe I shouldn't ask, but I figure it would be nice to get a little feedback from anybody that reads our blog...(all 3 people, I'm sure).  So yeah, drop a line and let me know what you think, what you would do differently, etc, etc...
